At Truffles Restaurant, we met up with Karl and his lovely wife along with their three delightful children, Charles, Reanne and David. The nine of us enjoyed a wonderful meal all the while waiting for David to fall asleep as we had been told that he usually crashes at some point during dinner. He managed to stay awake because I had promied him that we would take some pictures after the meal. The biggest highlight for Charles and David was blowing out the taper candles on the table when we were through.

After dinner, the nine of us went back to Dave and Joanie's place to have some tea, talk and take some pictures. David and Josh hit it off pretty well and I spent a bit of time watching Charlie get rambunctious with his dad. Soon, though, it was time for the kids to go home and hit the sack so we took the pictures I promised David we would take.

The hour was getting late and it was time to get Josh and I back to the hotel for our final night in England. We had to get up at 3:30am in order to be ready for Dave and Joanie to pick us up at 4:15am. With the day ahead of us, we were expecting to be up for over 24 hours, sleep was precious. We didn't get enough. 3:30am came waaaay too early.
